Food writer Jocelyn Ruggiero’s work has appeared in such national publications as The Boston Globe, The Washington Post, Parade Magazine, Food & Wine, Saveur and Yankee Magazine. Ruggiero will discuss her mid-life transition to a writing career and how ultimately enriching pursuing her passion has been. She will read excerpts from her work and discuss how food serves as a lens through which she explores history and culture. She will celebrate how food connects us to each other and the best parts of our pre-digital age: communities, families and traditions.
